Email Setup for Apple iOS devices (POP)

Note: your device’s icons and menu layout may appear different than our examples.

Setting up a new account


Unlock your device, then tap “Settings”.

Settings Menu


From the Settings menu, tap “Accounts & Passwords”.

Email Type


Select Add Account.

Type of Account


Tap Other as your account type.

New Account setup


Enter your nameemail address and password, and then tap Next. Note: Description is just a label or identifier for your preference should you have multiple mail accounts configured for your device. It is optional.

Enter Server Information


  1. Make sure POP is selected
  2. Name: Enter your name
  3. Email: Enter your email address
  4. Description: POP
Incoming Mail Server
  1. Host Name: pop.us.exg7.exghost.com
  2. User Name: Enter your email address
  3. Password: Enter your email password
Outgoing Mail Server
  1. Host Name: smtp.us.exg7.exghost.com
  2. User Name: Enter your email address
  3. Password: Enter your email password
Once the server information has been added, tap Next.

Select Services


Select the services to synchronize and tap “Save”.
Congratulations, your new email account is set up and ready to use.

Removing an old account


IMPORTANT: Be sure to move your old mail to your new account before removing an old account. Click here for instructions on moving old mail

Unlock your device, and then tap the Settings icon.

Accounts & Passwords


From the Settings menu, tap “Accounts & Passwords”.

Select the account to remove


Tap the account you are going to remove.

Delete the account


Tap “Delete Account” in red text at the bottom.

Confirm account removal


Tap “Delete from my iPhone” to confirm clearing the account from your device.
